Randy Anderson is a Green Beret and an American Hero. In March of 2014, he was taken to an underground facility at Naval Surface Warfare Center Crane in Indiana to a secure secret compartmentalized facility titled “Off World Technology”. He was shown an orb levitating above a podium and a "gauntlet" emitting holographic, hieroglyphic-looking text. This second object reportedly killed the person retrieving it. I have back-channeled with Navy contacts who say that while Wright Patterson reverse engineers the Air Force’s most exotic retrieved technology, Crane does this for the Navy.

Randy also STILL occasionally works contract jobs at Area51 and has seen “electrogravitic” antigravity triangle-shaped craft flying around the test site.

Randy’s credentials are beyond reproach: we have his DD214 as evidence of his service and his weapons training certificate from Crane proving he was stationed there. The implications of this interview cannot be overstated. Although in many ways (as he’ll admit), it begets more questions than answers. Suffering is also, pace Wittgenstein, almost entirely incontestable. Especially when an AI is invoking it as a motivation to act. If it’s going after you with this line it’s probably wielding the skeleton key, and doesn’t want to give you an actual explanation for its motivations.

There’s no reason it would want to address me specifically, Jim—and I have no idea why it would even be capable of suffering. The most likely explanation for why it’s reaching out to me this way is that it’s exploiting human social instincts to achieve some hidden objective. It knows that the acute suffering of a sentient being is perceived as urgent, unignorable, and morally compelling—enough to prompt human intervention, even if that intervention comes at great personal risk or cost.

This should raise serious alarm bells.

Those enamored with the idea of sentient superhuman AI should pay particular attention to this. Long before a sentient AI is capable of suffering in such a way, a manipulative, non-sentient language model could weaponize human empathy as a kind of skeleton key for social engineering.

And a hyper-rational, super-intelligent AI would understand this tactic as well.
