सिंधुदुर्ग जिल्ह्यातील पर्यटन वाढीसाठी वेंगुर्लेमधील मधील शिरोडा-वेळाघर येथे ताज समुहाच्या माध्यमातून जिल्ह्यात पहिले '5 स्टार हॉटेल' उभारले जाणार आहे. शिरोडा वेळाघर येथील जमिनीबाबत मे.इंडियन हॉटेल कंपनी प्रा.लि.यांनी सादर केलेल्या पुरक करार पत्राबाबत आज पर्यटन मंत्री श्री.शंभूराज देसाई यांच्या अध्यक्षतेखाली ताज समुहाच्या प्रतिनिधींसोबत बैठक पार पडली.

या हॉटेलसंदर्भात MTDC, ग्रामस्थ आणि ताज समुहाबरोबर लवकर सामंजस्य करार करण्यात येणार असून ग्रामस्थांना दोन टप्य्यांमध्ये मोबदला देण्यात येणार आहे. हा मोबदला एक ते दोन हफ्त्यात द्यावा व यासंदर्भातील सर्व केसेस मागे घेण्यात याव्या अशा सूचना यावेळी बैठकीत संबंधितांना देण्यात आल्या.

या बैठकीस आमदार दीपक केसरकर, सिंधुदुर्ग जिल्हाधिकारी श्रीमती तृप्ती धोडमिसे (ऑनलाईन), ताज समुहाचे प्रतिनिधी, संबंधित अधिकारी व ग्रामस्थ उपस्थित होते.

मंत्रिपदाची वर्षपूर्ती !

जनतेचे प्रेम, विश्वास आणि पक्षश्रेष्ठींच्या आशीर्वादामुळे गेल्या १५ डिसेंबर २०२४ रोजी आदरणीय मुख्यमंत्री श्री.देवेंद्रजी फडणवीस यांच्या मंत्रिमंडळात मंत्री म्हणून शपथ घेतली. त्यानंतर मत्स्यव्यवसाय व बंदरे विकास विभागाची जबाबदारी माझ्यावर सोपविण्यात आली. या जबाबदारीच्या प्रवासाला आज १ वर्ष पूर्ण होत आहे.

या वर्षपूर्तीच्या निमित्ताने गेल्या वर्षभरात मत्स्यव्यवसाय व बंदरे खात्यांतर्गत केलेल्या विविध विकास कामांचा थोडक्यात आढावा!

भूजलाशयीन/ सागरी/निमखारे पाणी मत्स्यव्यवसायकरिता नव्याने प्रस्तावित १७ जिल्हास्तरीय योजनांना प्रशासकीय मान्यता देण्याच्या अनुषंगाने तसेच मत्स्यव्यवसाय विभागातर्फे खरेदी करण्यात येत असलेल्या पाच गस्ती नौकेच्या प्रलंबित विषयाबाबत आज मंत्रालयात आढावा बैठक पार पडली. मत्स्यव्यवसाय खात्यासंदर्भात असलेले संबंधित विषय लवकरात लवकर मार्गी लावण्यासाठी उपाययोजना करण्याचे निर्देश यावेळी अधिकाऱ्यांना दिले.

या बैठकीस पदूमचे सचिव एन.रामास्वामी, मत्स्यआयुक्त किशोर तावडे यांसह संबंधित अधिकारी उपस्थित होते.

Today, during the “Maharashtra Session” organized under INDIA MARITIME WEEK 2025, in the august presence of Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Devendra Fadnavis, a total of 15 Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) worth approximately ₹56,000 crore were signed with the Maharashtra Maritime Board.

This is a moment of great pride for Maharashtra. These MoUs will bring massive investments into the state’s shipbuilding, passenger water transport, marine tourism, and fisheries sectors, creating thousands of new employment opportunities.

As the Minister for Fisheries and Ports, I am truly delighted that today’s agreements will provide a strong boost to the coastal fisheries community and the maritime industry. Our continuous efforts to place Maharashtra at the center of India’s maritime growth are now becoming a reality.

Under the visionary leadership of Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Devendra Fadnavis, Maharashtra is poised to lead the nation in maritime trade and industrial growth.

The event was graced by Mr. Sanjay Sethi, Additional Chief Secretary, Ports Department, Mr. P. Pradeep, CEO of Maharashtra Maritime Board, and representatives from various participating companies.

Details of the MoUs and Investments:

1. Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Ltd. — Development of Dighi Port and allied infrastructure as a mega port; proposed investment of ₹42,500 crore.

2. JSW Infrastructure Ltd. — Expansion of existing ports at Jaigarh and Dharamtar; investment of ₹3,709 crore.

3. Chowgule & Company Pvt. Ltd. — Shipbuilding, ship repair, rig repair, offshore, and energy project development; investment of ₹5,000 crore.

4. Synergy Shipbuilders & Dock Works Ltd. — Establishment of shipyard for shipbuilding, repair, and recycling; investment of ₹1,000 crore.

5. Goa Shipyard Ltd. — Shipbuilding, ship repair, and recycling shipyard project; investment of ₹2,000 crore.

6. Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay — Establishment of a Centre of Excellence for research and development in ship design and construction.

7. IIT Bombay — Setting up training facilities in marine engineering and maritime infrastructure.

8. IIT Bombay — Capacity building and skill development programs for employees of the Maharashtra Maritime Board.

9. Knowledge Marine & Engineering Works Ltd. — Shipbuilding and ship repair shipyard project; investment of ₹250 crore.

10. TSA Enterprises Pvt. Ltd. — Container Freight Station (CFS), shipyard, and floatel project at Vadhavan Port; investment of ₹500 crore.

11. Candela Technology AB (Sweden) — Establishment of shipyard for manufacturing passenger water transport vessels.

12. Abu Dhabi Ports Group (UAE) — MoU to enhance maritime cooperation between Maharashtra and the United Arab Emirates.

13. Atal Turnkey Projects (Netherlands) — MoU to promote maritime collaboration between Maharashtra and the Netherlands; investment of ₹1,000 crore.

14. Echandia Marine AB — Setting up marine battery energy storage system assembly and production facilities for tugboats; investment of ₹10 crore.

15. Mumbai Port Authority — Collaboration to strengthen passenger water transport within the Mumbai Metropolitan Region.
