Disability Justice is the only foundation from which we can build our liberation.
As disabled or pre disabled people, all else will fail eventually us.
Here's a quick Disability Justice primer on the 10 keys🧵

The high rates of masking at university encampments is so inspiring! It's also a great opportunity to help people connect the dots between the liberation of Palestine and disability justice.

Good morning, everyone. I'm starting a support line for those who have experienced grief from COVID loss, and I'm looking for call takers. When I've got ten, the line will go live. We currently get some on the Brooke Line for long-haulers,

Test To Treat is abruptly ending next month, making it even harder for people to get treatments.

Major media continued its assault on Long COVID patients by denying their very existence on Long COVID Awareness Day. As the voices of the victims of "let it rip" (unchecked disease spread) get louder, attempts to silence them intensify.

There's a liminal area the world ignores after COVID. It's a world of heart disease and neurological damage, of vertigo and vision loss, gastric disorders and endocrine hell.
It is also one of job loss and housing instability, food insecurity and medication rationing.

Today marks the 4th anniversary of the COVID19 pandemic. The monumental death toll and mass disabling by #LongCovid demands mitigation, patient care, awareness and funding for research. Please join us at the @LCDCmarch15 on March 15 to push for change. See you at the webinar.

Meet Dara. A front-line nurse and loving mother disabled by Long Covid. After her most recent infection, she suffered a stroke. But it hasn’t stopped her.
LC/DC was her vision and with the help of some volunteers and community support, her vision is coming to life next week! Despite everything she’s gone through, she has been working tirelessly to support the Long Covid community while staying positive.
Dara is determined to get to DC because, as she says, “I don’t know if I’ll be here next year. So I have to do something.”
She’s spending the next week trying to heal as much as possible so she can give it her all on #LongCovidAwarenessDay in DC.
March 15th, we invite you all to share in her vision, support each other, and tell the government, “we are not invisible.”
Every person with Long Covid has a story. We want to hear yours. Come join us in the fight for prevention, education, and treatments.
