@jeuasommenulle First thought: This is crazy.
On second thought: I love to see executives actually feel the pain they created. Quite the contrast to the 7 digit severance package you get regardless of your performance. Clawbacks are less effective than removal of tinder
@spectator All three candidates already showed major incompetence. Scholz failures (wirecard, cumex, G20) are the worst but he gets seen as most competent. The main skill of all them is backroom politics - that's it.
Politics in Germany is a sad affair.
@TaikiMaeda2 every shitcoin on the planet has been pumping the last two days. definitely sell these farm tokens asap. You know they will go down eventually and trying to miss these drawdowns is very risky.
@Schuldensuehner All three candidates got pushed through by their respective party's establishment and against the desires of the party's members. Looks like a democracy problem.
@gulovsen @ProtosMedia to discover what? tax evasion, market manipulation? There are countries that whole business model is that. large parts of the financial industry literally have no other purpose.
@AriDavidPaul when the SEC or whoever seizes all funds from binane, they will return it to the customers. Thus, increased regulatory scrutiny decreases chances of embezzlement of customer funds, which is the primary risk on binance.
USDT/BNB/BUSD is total different animal, though.
@hasufl might be true (who knows), but watching bloomberg a lot:
1. they have much less reporting on crypto than cnbc and are generally considered to be more 'noble' or upper class (pro establishment)
2. cut-offs happen VERY rarely, mostly limited to temporal audio problems
@ProfCAlexander@patio11 Did you try to speak to binance before throwing these accusations around?
For example, binance changed their api regarding liquidations after the may 19th incident (maybe to avoid overload?) and bybt even stated that.
@ODELL institutions follow adoption by forcing regulators to change the rules. this is just pumping is bugs with no regard for the future of bitcoin - not surprising, tbh.
@choffstein in cryptoland you get liquidated if you borrow too much and/or invest in the wrong token. Your investment and the token gets out of business.
In fiat land, Deutsche still exists.
@davidbelle_ Why EM? China tech has already been hit hard - so a lot of bad stuff is priced in. I agree though, upcoming china vs. the west tensions are understimated.
@dcfgod So many people still fall for it. Part of me feels sorry, but stupidity and greed should be punished. Techlead called it a social experiment after all. Maybe he will do a post-mortem laughing at everybody's face with the $3mm profit. Would not even blame him.
