Head on over to https://t.co/IrARE8Q0L2 to hear myself and Carl Richards @behaviorgap talk about finding and servicing your tribe and the mindsets behind it! Thanks for joining me Carl, it is an honour to have you.
Working on a bill-payment service for widowed clients so that their households can continue running and allowing them time to grief. Any solutions out there already? @kathi_balasek@bridgetmcnulty I would value your input
@FISA_org promoted the following CPD events around Wills & Trusts. As financial planners it’s critical to be up to date with this info —> https://t.co/XUxOcgcMUd

@dirkgroeneveld You get a copy of your client’s last tax return (ITA34). Under code 4029 it will show “amount c/f to next year” which is the disallowed contributions. I then double check with Gravitas Tax Simulations in case of previous withdrawals or retirements.
SA financial planners, are we checking our client’s ITA34 for disallowed contributions when we calculate the tax free portion beneficiaries can claim upon death? Just found an extra R480k a beneficiary can receive tax free.

@kathi_balasek The conversation project is such a great resource for people with a time-limiting illness, filled with guides and stories. Prompting these conversations can be hard but amazingly helpful for the family https://t.co/AbBhmSLLCQ
@khemaridh He mentioned in his book that if something takes less than 5 minutes you should do it immediately, is that still relevant today where your day can be filled up with 5 minute “tasks” or interruptions. How does he protect himself from interruptions?
I could not put this down last night. @Craffiescoach did a wonderful job of combining the deep research with practical insight. Going on my recommended reading list for financial planners

Reflecting on the Financial Transitionist CeFT continuous studies call we had last night with Susan Bradley:
*be aware of social anomie, (clients feel the normal rules don’t apply to them)
*we are stepping into uncertainty and this requires a beginners mind
This was such a fun conversation with @MacGardner_CFP. I’m using the Four Money Bears conversation with clients of all ages!
If you have some time, please give it a listen
