@British_Airways opening the check in desks at Manchester airport with 1 hours and 45 minutes before departure with only one check in counter open… not good enough!
@KLM_UK cancelling my flight the night before relocation to Thailand. Thanks for making me unpack my luggage rather than spending time with my family as I can no longer take the four suitcases I had prepaid for and I’m only left with 1!
@MissKhan__@pastelteacher@LTeacher123 We do the Ancient Egyptians in Y4 and Y5 do the Romans and The Greeks. I feel they could be merged in a way too. I work in a school where coverage isn’t an issue though
You will never knock us down. You will never beat our spirit from us. Manchester you are great. Manchester you are strong. To the 22 who lost their lives, we keep laughing, loving, singing for you. You will never be forgotten. #proudmancunian#staystrongourkid
Next week I am holding a 15 minute forum at school on using social media as a form of CPD. What is your fav thing about social media CPD? Why would you encourage others to use it?
We are having a maths day tomorrow, including every child in school making their own maths graffiti shirt in the style of these, that Year 6 did earlier in the year, and then wearing them all day. Can't wait to see what they come up with!
If you are an experienced teacher, please do all you can to ensure that those new to it see it in a positive light. There are certainly challenges but turning enthusiastic teachers off the profession does so much harm. Enthusiasm is infectious, embrace it! #teaching
On Friday afternoon our Y4 classrooms were transformed. As the Entry Point to their new topic “Saving The World” the Y4's created tropical rainforests! They had thought about the plants & animals that live in the rainforests & used mixed media to create their own pictures!

On Monday Y3 enjoyed their Entry Point introducing their new #Topic 'Footprints From The Past'.
The 1st topic activity saw our Y3 students becoming #Paleontologists. The children were excited to dig for a #dinosaur & used different techniques to extract what they discovered!
