Data released today shows the amount of PE hours taught in schools has fallen again, now down a staggering 41,000 a year since 2011/12.⬇️
This is incredibly concerning given less than half of children and young people are achieving the recommended 60 active minutes a day.
As our manifesto for action sets out, we need to make PE a core subject and guarantee every child two hours of PE a week. 🙌
