@AmoruPaul Thank you H.E for witnessing that imortant MOU that result to driving economic growth, creating jobs, and enhancing agricultural development for both countries.
The partnership strengthens Uganda-South Africa ties, attracting further investment and improving livelihoods.
Today, I was honored to witness the birth of a formal partnership between Federal Foods Pty and Phinel Pty Ltd through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding at the Department of Trade Industry and Competition head office in Pretoria. This significant agreement marks a pivotal moment for Ugandan agricultural products, encompassing a variety of high-quality offerings such as pineapples, peppers, bananas, and more set to grace the markets of South Africa. I commend Mr. Andrew Mukiibi, the CEO of Federal Foods for this initiative. Mr. John Rocha from DTIC, who has been instrumental in promoting trade and investment, hosted the event. I thank @matthewbagonza from @paceidug for his presence and support in solidifying this strategic effort to grow Ugandan exports into Southern Africa. Cheers to the commencement of what promises to be a prosperous collaboration, fostering sustainable trade practices, economic growth, and fostering stronger relations between Uganda and South Africa. @UgandaMFA@UgEmbassySA@DIRCO_ZA

We marked Heroes' Day in Mpenja Sub-county, Gomba District, reflecting on our successful liberation struggle fueled by NRA/M principles of Patriotism, Pan-Africanism, socio-economic transformation, and democracy which historically have been our guiding lights.
Gomba was an operational area for UFM and FEDEMO. The NRA was operating in the Northeast of Gomba, but Gomba served as a corridor for our recruits from the Southwest to the Luwero area and even when we were going to attack Kabamba, we passed through Gomba.
The First Lady, who also serves as the Minister of Education and Sports @JanetMuseveni, made an unannounced appearance at @NambooleStadium to watch the highly anticipated football match between Uganda and Algeria. This surprise visit has been hailed as "Picture of the Century,"
