It sounds to me like they just reactivated a law that was active for the last 5 years.

You can argue the political process was manipulative or borderline illegal.
But to be fair privacy is not worse than before?

@kineyDE @MFratzscher Claude Opus arbeitet das in Ordnung auf. Auf Nachfrage leitet er eine lebenslange Haft und Sicherheitsverwahrung als Strafe ab und fordert zu gleich bei den ‚Ermöglichern‘ nicht weg zu sehen.

Don’t know about your potential criminal take. Seems to me like they guy was likely German. A country with favorable tax laws (no taxes after a years of holding, 5years prosecution window).
