“When the law fails, it is necessary to protect people and restore international order by legitimate force”

Russia is now literally rewriting Ukrainian history.
Russian schools in the occupied territories will receive a new textbook titled “History of Our Land. Donbas and Novorossiya.”
The history of Ukraine’s Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson regions will now be taught as part of russian history.
The textbooks, approved by russia’s Ministry of Education, are expected to enter schools on September 1.
This is how russian occupation works.
First, they invade your land. Then they destroy your cities, kill and deport your people, erase your language and culture — and finally teach your children that their homeland was russian all along.
This is colonialism and forced russification.
🚨 BREAKING: Russian forces killed 6 people and wounded 19 others in a devastating missile and glide-bomb strike on Zaporizhzhia.
The attack destroyed four apartment buildings, leaving civilians trapped in the rubble.
20.02.2014 Kyiv: The Berkut forces shoot and kill more than 48 people that day. Numerous Berkut officers flee to Russia following the events. Yanukovych’s government collapses, and the next day he leaves Kyiv—exactly as a Russian TV report had predicted about four weeks earlier.
One of the Kremlin's favourite tactics:
Deny (or obscure) in the present; admit and celebrate later.
We saw it in Crimea, where the little green men were nobody's soldiers in 2014 and heroes with medals a year later. We saw it throughout Soviet history: the pilots who flew over Korea in 1951 had their Soviet markings painted over, and were celebrated afterwards.
And we are seeing it again now, albeit with a much shorter turnaround. 🇰🇵
The North Korean soldiers who fought for Russia last year are currently being celebrated – just last month, Putin thanked their foreign minister on state television for the retaking of Kursk.
The current deployment, however, is obscured: "It is not for Zelensky to speak of our plans" is all official channels will say about the 30,000 soldiers Kyiv claims are arriving.
This strategic ambiguity does exactly what it is built to do: deniability abroad, a choice of truths at home, and the confirmation banked, to be spent at a moment of the Kremlin's choosing.
Two Russian dreadlock equipped ”peace activists” have been arrested after camping next to and asking to fish from the pier of a cabin where the CEO of SAAB was a guest. They carried radios.
SAAB is an important supplier of military equipment both nationally and globally.
As tourism returns to the Syrian coast, Latakia is testing a new life post-Assad
Which way will Syria turn: to a more conservative Muslim way of life or Western-style freedom?
Nobody knows for sure but on the beaches of Latakia, many Syrians are enjoying life after Assad.

Not enough people are aware that Cambridge Analytica and Peter Thiel’s Palantir worked side by side, mining Facebook data in 2016 re the Leave /Brexit campaign
The same Palantir is now in charge of our government's AI system! Also - A new report on NHS costs for the Palantir platform shows lifetime charge rises to £1.1bn on ‘increased delivery at scale’ while forecast benefits fall to £808mn.
Pressure needs to be put on the govt to trigger a 2027 break clause in Palantir’s contract due to concerns about its effectiveness, use of NHS data & their ties to the Trump administration

BREAKING | Syrian Foreign Ministry:
* We strongly condemn Colombia’s recognition of what it described as Israeli sovereignty over the occupied Syrian Golan Heights.
* The Golan Heights are an integral part of Syrian territory.
* Colombia’s decision was based on security-related justifications that are inconsistent with international law and United Nations resolutions.

BREAKING: Israeli settler terrorists are attacking the Christian village of Taybeh in the occupied West Bank, harassing residents and attempting to break into Palestinian homes.
This comes as the Israeli army has declared the area a closed military zone, preventing foreign activists, international observers, and journalists from reaching the village—while settler terrorism continues to run free.
All eyes on Taybeh.
