Meaza Ashenafi& many women officials in @AbiyAhmedAli’s govt have been complicit in z #TigrayGenocide. Their roles in governance have failed to prevent or condemn the extreme sexual violence& atrocities inflicted on Tigrayan women& girls.

Tigray — cradle of African Christianity.
Home of Axum, the Queen of Sheba, and the Ark of the Covenant.
Now, holy sites are bombed, priests executed, manuscripts looted.

We must stand firmly for justice & confront those responsible for the #TigrayGenocide. Silence enables atrocities, while demanding accountability honors the victims, defends human dignity, & helps prevent further suffering.

Diplomats across Africa advocate accountability abroad — from Palestine to Haiti to Sudan.
But accountability must also apply within our own region.
To demand justice from the world while ignoring Tigray weakens our moral strength.

@reda_getachew spoke the truth about the genocide in Tigray, even without naming @AbiyAhmedAli. But it was leaders who denied it reducing it to ‘just numbers’ & claiming ‘no proof,’ despite 1M innocent Tigrayans killed.2 years ago, Tigray’s own leaders openly denied the genocide.

"While women & girls were noted as the primary targets of sexual violence, the report acknowledged that boys & men were also victims. No specific data was provided for the latter."

Let's stand against the very actors responsible for Genocide‼️
During the #TigrayGenocide, both the Eritrean dictator & @AbiyAhmedAli inflicted systematic violence, including mass atrocities, forced displacement, sexual violence, starvation tactics,& destruction of livelihoods.
Those so-called highly educated #TPLF members have failed to provide z transformative leadership Tigray urgently needs, prolonging the suffering of its people. The people of #Tigray must now seek leadership that truly represents& serves them.

@Romha12@John_danaite My brother- the disciple of Policy Bado-Bado,
Here is what I think about it.
I haven’t actually read it yet, so I don’t want to speak from ignorance. I can’t say much, and I don’t want to give poorly informed suggestions, but I’ve heard people talking about it.
For me, as one Tigraway, anything that leads to a workable agreement among all Tegaru parties, and is embraced collectively is a win-win for #Tigray. So, based on the little I know right now, I support the intention behind the policy, while saving any full agreement or disagreement for after I read it myself.
Anything that brings all Tegaru together to discuss and shape lasting political, economic, and geopolitical solutions, I’m all for that.
