17 Oct at 1:30 am in Asalpha,2 men on a bike provoked fight,attacked us with hard object,my friend got stiches & cut on face.later discovered my gold chain missing.Despite injuries,evidence,only an NCR was filed. I urgently need help to get an FIR @CPMumbaiPolice @MumbaiPolice

On 17 Oct near Asalpha Metro at 1.30 am, two guys on a bike kept honking behind us unnecessarily. When we asked why, they abused us and threatened us by calling their friends. Within minutes, a few locals joined them and a full fight broke out they started hitting us.

people gathered and so I stepped back and moved away from the spot for safety. Only the next day I realised my gold chain (2.4g) with a small ring (0.42g) attached was missing. I genuinely don’t know if it fell off during the fight or came off due to someone grabbing my collar, but i have a clear strech marks of chain grabbing on my neck.
I lost a valuable asset because of this incident.
My friend also lost his silver chain (50 gm) and got 2 stiches on hios head and a cut mark on his face and got badly hurt in lips mouth.
That same evening, we went to Sakinaka Police Station. Despite injuries and loss of valuables, we were not treated good and had to wait a lot, given no proper guidance, treated casually, and only an NCR was filed. FIR was refused.

We with help of few local friends provided names, photos, bike number, the spot, and the area even has CCTV cameras - still no action.
They had said “we’ll catch them tomorrow.” but it was diwali and for 3 days we didn't got any response.
we followed up couple of times, Follow-ups were met with the same casual behaviour and empty assurances.

I am disapointed as I received no proper support or response from the police. I’m emotionally exhausted and genuinely don’t know what to do next except request your help to get a proper FIR filed

Even my insurance claim requires an FIR, which the police are not filing.
We have the NCR, medical reports, photos, bills, emails everything ready.
despite of all this I still have hope on police that's why i am writing this here.
I am requesting support so an FIR is filed properly and we can move forward legally 🙏.

@mybmc @mybmcWardS We had submitted an objection that this was a very old tree and should not be cut. However, today, w/o any prior notice, the contractor felled the tree, completely disregarding the concerns raised by locals. This is a shameful and irresponsible act by the BMC

@MSEDCL since last 1 year i am facing high bills because of the meter and system error. I have recieved a bill of 14110 Rs for the month of January. A simple family in a chawl can't have such a high bill
