TURKPA Secretary General met with the Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Republic of Austria and Permanent Representative to the International Organizations in Vienna

On 19 February 2026, H.E Ambassador Ramil Hasan (@RamilRhasanov), Secretary General of the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic States (TURKPA) held a bilateral meeting with H.E. Ambassador Mukhtar Tileuberdi (@MBTileuberdi), Ambassador of the Republic of #Kazakhstan to the Republic of #Austria and Permanent Representative to the International Organizations in Vienna during the official visit to #Vienna. The meeting took place within the framework of the Winter Meeting of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly.

During the meeting, the active initiatives recently undertaken by TURKPA, as well as the steps taken towards further strengthening the existing #cooperation between the TURKPA, the OSCE (@OSCE) and the OSCE PA (@oscepa) were discussed.

At 65 session of @CTBTO PrepCom expressed concerns over growing rhetoric to resume nuclear tests. @Kazakhstan stands against any actions that undermine global stability and trigger new arms race. At #UNGA80 @TokayevKZ called for prompt resumption of dialogue among nuclear powers.

Taking part at the Briefing on the @OSCE project “Mitigating Climate Change Threats to Critical Energy Infrastructure”. New interactive platform was presented. It’s designed to identify, prevent and address climate change-induced risks across the energy sector in the OSCE ares.
