@ad_mastro Your piece reminded me that our firm just finished an apartment building facing an alley off U Street with ground floor studio units that are zoned for dual commercial usage. Every time I give a tour, I try to get people to brainstorm possible uses! They remain residential only.

@kristoncapps I pass at least 2 groups of them daily on a .3 mile walk in Adams Morgan. They are often standing on the plaza in front of the rec center at 8 AM - why are our kids walking past armed soldiers to go to camp?

@BarredinDC What gets me is it doesn't even matter if there is a sign - right turn on red is illegal across DC! They just haven't funded enforcement at intersections without a sign. (True of enforcement of most traffic laws in DC - if a camera can't catch you, you aren't getting a ticket.)

@colinmort I am registered but Independent so my vote doesn't really count here because the DC Council declined to fund open primaries. If you're not registered Democrat, there is literally no point in voting in DC.
