It is impressive what one story that is not fact-checked by SAYS can bring you. This is how misinformation spreads.
Misinformation that hit The Malay Mail, NST, BFM, Berita Harian, and more.
The evidence presented was a poor AI video, and the domain registra, Squarespace did not exist in 1993.
Simple fact-checking on the Internet Archive would have provided provenance of the domain name. It has snapshots dating back to 1996.
Easy to see that the domain was originally registered by Advanced Instruments Corporation, a Colorado-based Internet Service Provider. It changed hands, till a mysterious anon purchased it.
So this domain was not registered for $100 by a Malaysian in 1993. It was sold by a Malaysian sure, but the SAYS story is factually incorrect. What else is wrong?
I just found out the guy who sold AI com was tied to an Asian Bitcoin ponzi years ago.
His name is Arsyan Ismail.
- Malaysian tech prodigy
- bought AI com as a kid for $100
- held it for 30+ years
- sold for $70M to Crypto com
But back in 2016–2017, Arsyan was linked to a project called BitKingdom.
BitKingdom was basically a MMM-style Bitcoin ponzi.
People were promised insane returns like 120% in 20 days.
It was just new deposits paying old users until it collapsed.
Malaysia’s central bank later listed BitKingdom as unauthorized.
The main founder was a businessman named Dato Fadino, who was later charged for cheating investors.
Arsyan’s role is the strange part, he claimed he was only a contractor building the website.
But forums and victim petitions accused him of being the technical architect behind it.
After the collapse, members said thousands of BTC were missing.
Then the project tried to “transition” into something called Aureus, saying it was backed by 15,000 BTC.
And nothing was resolved publicly.
Arsyan was never charged.
And then, in 2026, he suddenly becomes the guy who sold AI com for $70 million in crypto.
Holy shit is Meta evil lmao
***10%*** of Meta's revenue is from ACTUAL SCAMS that they KNOW ARE SCAMS
When Zuck found out, he shut down... the ANTI-scam team
Imagine trusting this man - or any of these cartoon villains - with Actual Fucking Superintelligence
I paid for a service using btc, 301,500 sats using send crypto feat in @hatamalaysia w stated fee as 1800 sats
What i thought would happen is that my wallet would be charged 301,500+1800 but instead Hata deduct 1800 from 301,500 so that recipient received 1800 less than agreed
“So you put $5,000 on a credit card to trade crypto, and in five years you turned it into $9 million?”
“Yes Dave”
“And you then lost it all in twenty minutes, and in those five years you never paid off the credit card which now has a $28,600 balance?”
“That’s correct Dave”
The Cantillon Effect
Tall buildings and what they forecast
Back in 2009, I wrote this article, which was adapted from MoneyWeek (UK), February 8, 2008.
A mania for tall buildings quickly developed; a phenomenon that continues to this day. Since then, the opening of successively taller, then tallest buildings, has proceeded in waves: the most remembered being The Empire State Building which opened for business in May of 1931 to great fanfare, but practically empty.
I’ve termed this phenomenon The Cantillon Effect, named after Richard Cantillon (1680–1734), an early economist who recognized how increased credit drives expansion—until it inevitably overheats.
When paired with the 18-year real estate cycle, the Cantillon Effect becomes a powerful forecasting tool. The world's tallest buildings often break ground when credit is abundant and easy.
