@KGeorgieva@AbiyAhmedAli Replacing the displaced by UAE and Dubai investors which are destroying memories and landmarks of Ethiopians and replacing it with shiny toy like buildings and lights which do not add to the main needs of the people. Most restaurants are getting power and water once in 15 days.
@KGeorgieva@AbiyAhmedAli Ethiopia's PM is using the money to buy drones to kill Ethiopians, displace Ethiopians from their Capital (with the name of Gentrification and Investment) in order to achieve homogenization of Oromos in the Capital and social cleansing of Amhara and the rest of Ethiopians.
@KGeorgieva@AbiyAhmedAli We understand the ABCs of economic development and it is simple. A Nation's development will be expressed as protecting its primary wealth, it's people. A developed nation ensures the primary need (physiological needs, safety, social, esteem self actualization needs) satisfied.
@KGeorgieva@AbiyAhmedAli Ethiopian people know who is on their side in all actions are being recorded. Don't put your name on those list who is helping the genociders savagely killing Ethiopians. Do not enable this government to buy killing machines with taxpayers money to kill innocent Ethiopians. Plea
@KGeorgieva@AbiyAhmedAli Justice can only be served with a Just Law. If the law has to serve the people it has to be made by the people not by the elites (political, economic, academic, cultural, religious, etc). So what's your plan to question on fraudulent, illegal and criminal so called "Constitution"
@KGeorgieva@AbiyAhmedAli Ethiopian civilians are killed everyday by drones. You are in enabling Genocide. Do not put your name in this. How do you plan to ensure that the people are the true owners of the law, holders of power, beneficiaries of their land's wealth, & controllers of public institutions?

In the past two days, the Amhara region's Gojjam has been thrust into a state of turmoil as Ethiopian military forces reportedly launched over eight drone strikes on civilians and their properties. Locals, incensed by the brutal attacks, have abandoned their homes, swelling the ranks of the Amhara Fano—a response fueled by the military's alleged deliberate targeting of civilians to extract information about Fano hideouts.
The failure of the Ethiopian military to capture a single Amhara Fano member has resulted in frustration, escalating to a grim toll on civilians. Amidst the chaos, the Amhara Fanos have managed to capture government soldiers, further intensifying hostilities.
The scale of the attacks is deeply disturbing, with drone strikes and heavy artillery barrages hitting bus stations, schools, churches, and even farmers collecting harvested crops in their fields. The intentional destruction of crops, an essential livelihood for many, aims to render the locals dependent on the government while breaking their spirits. This move has further fueled anger among the populace.
The Amhara Fanos, enjoying widespread local support due to several massacres of ethnic Amharas, stand as a formidable force against the Ethiopian military. The government troops, viewed as enemies by the locals, are met with staunch resistance. The growing tension and animosity between the military and the local population have exacerbated an already dire situation.
Internally displaced people, who sought refuge in camps due to the ongoing war in Amhara, find themselves among the victims of the drone strikes and artillery attacks. Reports suggest that Ethiopian military forces have been given a direct order to target civilians and their properties, aiming to exhaust and demoralize the populace.
As the crisis intensifies, Gojjam, home to the capital of the Amhara region, Bahir Dar, is now under complete siege by Ethiopian military forces. The blockade has left residents without access to electricity, internet, food, and other basic necessities, exacerbating an already dire situation.Disturbingly, reports, including those from the Ethiopian Human Rights Commission, highlight instances of extrajudicial killings and street executions targeting ethnic Amharas in various parts of Gojjam.
The situation underscores the urgent need for international attention and intervention to address the escalating humanitarian crisis in the region.
