We are glad to announce that key members of Congress agree that @PMEthiopia, despite the many chances given, continues to commit human rights violations and is a destabilizing force in the region. We are pushing to ensure that @PMEthiopia remains barred from all U.S. economic (non-humanitarian) assistance and rescind any @MCCgov action to normalize the U.S.-Ethiopia relationship.

The United States cannot continue to bail out everyone. We are looking into the possibility of Congress barring @PMEthiopia from 'certain' U.S. humanitarian assistance.
