Dear @US_SrAdvisorAF, thank you for your efforts to strengthen U.S.-Eritrea dialogue. Productive discussions between governments are critical, & so too are human rights. We hope that the case of American citizen Ciham Ali, who has been forcibly disappeared in Eritrea since 2012 when she was just 15 years old, is not forgotten.
We kindly urge you to use this opportunity to seek answers, proof of life, & ultimately her freedom. Her family has waited far too long.

Another example: Eritrea is functionally a communist country; every industry is state-owned. People are not only required to work; they are basically enslaved by the government according to some reports. https://t.co/5iTubyl9w2
Help us raise our voices urging EU officials to take action in the case of Dawit Isaak, the Swedish-Eritrean journalist who has been held incommunicado in Eritrea for nearly 25 years without trial.
Join us in sending letters to key decision-makers calling for proof of life, consular access, independent medical care, & Dawit’s immediate release to bring him back to his family who have spent nearly a quarter of a century waiting for his return.
Join @TheRWCHR, Hostage Aid & multiple other international organizations, in the Appeal to Action campaign & amplify Dawit’s case by sending your message through the link below:
