I would like to draw Prime Minister @netanyahu's attention to the fact that Turkey has also overtaken Somalia as part of its imperial ambitions in the Horn of Africa, the Gulf of Aden and the Indian Ocean.
Unfortunately, the dictator’s representatives left the General Assembly, boycotting Prime Minister Netanyahu’s speech.
Turkey denies the Armenian genocide, while the Tigrinya genocide, massacres and slavery under Ottoman Turkey remain unspoken and unacknowledged.
Turkey is not only hosting Hamas terrorists; it is also hosting and financing the minority Eritrean Muslim Brotherhood opposition, preparing them to fill the vacuum left by Isaias Afwerki as the aging dictator’s state failure deepens. Meanwhile, Iran continues to cooperate with him.
The #Tigrinya nation, like the #Jewish people, faces threats from both Iran and Turkey: Iran and its radical Islamist terrorist proxies, including the Houthis, and Turkey through its support for Islamist Muslim Brotherhood networks. We are caught between two Islamist powers seeking to control our region and dominate our Red Sea coast.
The same Turkey that, in the 16th century, used the Somali Islamist proxy Ahmad ibn Ibrahim al-Ghazi, commonly known as Ahmad Gragn to invade our country is now using the Eritrean Muslim Brotherhood to target the Tigrinya nation.
Eritrea—the de facto nation-state of the indigenous, overwhelmingly majority Tigrinya nation: a highly homogeneous people with no tribal or clan structure, whose historical, religious and civilizational identity is deeply connected to Jerusalem.
Jerusalem is not a distant symbol to the Tigrinya nation. It is embedded in our ancient Orit/Torah tradition, religious memory and cultural imagination. Our connection to Jerusalem is expressed through our Tabot (Ark of the Covenant) and the history of Abraham, Yaakov, Isaac, Sarah, Rivka and Rachel, which is part of our own history.
Prior to the existence of the State of Israel, we were alone in the region. Today, we are no longer alone. Surrounded by half a billion Arabs and Muslims, the Jewish people and the State of Israel face the same isolation and security threats that we face. We share the same Orit/Torah cultural heritage.
Today, therefore, Tigrinya security, Red Sea security, Jewish security, and the security of #Jerusalem are interconnected.
Erdogan speaks of the destruction of Israel and of becoming the ruler of Jerusalem. He knows the Tigrinya people's profound connection to Zion and Jerusalem. This is precisely why he sees the Tigrinya people as a force that must be neutralized if he is to pursue his ambition of becoming Jerusalem’s ruler.
Eritrea today is the most stable and peaceful country on the Red Sea and in the Horn of Africa thanks to the homogeneity of the Tigrinya nation, its geography, and military and organizational capacity—despite the dictator's devastation, isolation and dysfunctional state institutions.
Turkey remembers that we defeated the Ottoman forces with the support of our Western ally, Portugal, in the 16th century and that, except for the coastal areas, they failed to invade our heartland in the highlands. However, their control of the coast allowed them to isolate us for more than three centuries.
That was physical and trade isolation. Today, the dictator has imposed an even deeper form of isolation: digital isolation. By blocking access to the internet, with penetration at less than 1%, he has cut us off from the AI and information age, isolating our people from the knowledge, technology and opportunities of the modern world.
We will not let Turkey control our Red Sea coast. We will be the security guarantor of the Red Sea, as we have been for centuries. And we will stand with our Jewish brothers. We will not let Erdoğan rule Jerusalem.

@visegrad24#Eritrean gov. trained Somalia's soldiers in 🇪🇷 & also funded Al-Shaabab by supplying them w/weapons. @UN has accused them from using 💰 generated from deals with #NevsunResourcesLtd, a Canadian Mining Co. used modern day slavery at Bishas mines to extract cooper, gold, & zinc.
This poses an interesting question, whether by mending fences with Eritrea to advance its Red Sea objectives, did Washington somehow embolden Asmara in the current standoff with Ethiopia via Tigray? That is not evident, but its a distinct risk given Washington's tactic approach and strategic blindness. https://t.co/EoGULMWgoZ
@Spearhead_Af@KasanetBerhane No, #Eritrea is the top 5 countries with most vulnerable populations, high mortality death rate, alarming rate of youth fleeing the country due to forced & indefinate conscriptions, forced disappearances, modern day slavery, human/organ trafficking & all confirmed by @UN_HRC.
🇪🇷 Eritrea Crossed the Line. Ethiopia Crosses the Capital.‼️
For two years, Eritrean government has treated Ethiopia’s border as optional. Eritrean officials and military units have crossed into Ethiopian territory again and again without permission, without invitation, and in open contempt of Ethiopia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
That was only the visible insult. Behind it sits a deeper violation: Eritrea’s systematic interference in Ethiopia’s internal affairs. Asmara has not merely tested the frontier; it has armed the fracture rebels. It has funneled military support, money, and logistics to rebels working against Ethiopia’s unity in supplying the means, the movement, and the material that turn domestic tension into an imported war. This is not neighborly friction. It is a campaign to weaken Ethiopia from within while denying it peace at the border.
Ethiopian government showed restraint. That restraint was not weakness. It was discipline. It was the patience of a state that prefers law to impulse and stability to spectacle.
That patience has now been spent. What Eritrea mistook for hesitation was a line being drawn and that line has been crossed too many times.
Ethiopia will no longer absorb violation as policy. In the coming weeks, Ethiopian forces will move on Asmara, end this pattern of intrusion and subversion, and take control of Eritrea.
Sovereignty is not a slogan. It is enforced.
Children deserve safety, education, and hope, not fear and instability. Eritrean families in Israel continue to show resilience despite the hardships they face every day. #RegimeChangeInEritrea#EBRF@IsraelMFA

You were brutally murdered by regime supporters in Israel, just because you stood up in the streets, promoted and campaigned for freedom, dignity and justice for the Eritrean people. Another “breakthrough” was not even vaguely accepting starvation, slaughter or destruction.
You stood up for the truth when it was dangerous. You refused to bow to a regime that for years tried to crush humanity’s dreams, voices and hopes. For the hell of it, I didn’t pay the ultimate price. It really strikes us that humanity as a campaign for the freedom of the customer must be so much hatred and brutality.
But even though your lives march before it comes your names and are on the verge of never disappearing. You have become symbols of resistance, strength and hatred towards Eritrea and its people. Those who sought silence will not succeed - for they live their lives against all of us who continue to fight for a free and just Eritrea.
Our sorrows are deep. Being angry is understandable. But our pride in the land is even greater. Nor did the world say that freedom is never given voluntarily through coercion — it takes a man's shoe to stand up, even when the price is fruitfully high.
Our heroes. Become brothers. Host Eritrea.
We will always be in our hearts with tears, sorrow and wonderful condolences.
Rest in age and worth.
Earth courage will never come to die. 🕯️ #EBRF #BlueRevolution #TransnationalRepression #NoMorePFDJTerror #RegimeChangeInEritrea
