Ongoing Work: MSCAN Project
The Medical Student COVID-19 Action Network (MSCAN) mapped 550 opportunities at 115 schools in 42 US states for med students to help fight in the earliest stage of the pandemic. While the fight continues, we look to the future of where else we can impact: https://t.co/CiJA7aoSZg
At MSCAN we stand behind all of those fighting for equality. We’ve posted a guide to assist in keeping yourselves and your families as safe as possible from COVID19 while protesting. #BlackLivesMatter https://t.co/IYBeD2BQql

NEW: I just learned that a number of hospitals & are not allowing their data on COVID patient treatments to be sent to CDC/researchers (on an anonymized basis). Likely because they want to get paid for it.
This data is critical to finding the right treatments. This must change.
I'm sharing my talk on "#COVID19: from Virus to Patient." It's a 45 minute talk for a general audience, and covers basic science, clinical management, diagnostics, therapeutics, and more, hosted by @hgsuuaw.
