@GMB In the 70's we were taught about tooth care at school (my mum did teach me too though). We were given mini toothpaste and disclosing tablets. It was fascinating to see where you'd missed brushing.

The checkout person was deaf and not able to talk, no fault of their own. However, in these financially difficult times, perhaps put some signage, so there's a choice.
