To counter my previous post about Italy, here is an extremely different case. Qatar grew its population based on (let's call it) cheap imported male laborers who built a whole lot out of nearly nothing in the desert. Source: https://t.co/UnaNVuI1zf
Without wanting to sound too dramatic, this animated population pyramid shows the decline of Italy from 1950 to 2100. From around half a million babies per year to about 100k babies. Aging won't be fun in an emptied out country with limited services. Source: https://t.co/gvn3Z63Zru
I have watched so many videos of this guy kicking a rock until it becomes a sphere, and tbh I find the whole thing mesmerizing. What a hilarious use of free will
Human's are causing the Earth's sixth mass extinction. 83% of wild mammals have already been pushed past the brink.
If nature goes, its taking us with it. No time to wait.

I’m NOT an expert on the matter at all, but I thought sewage discharge into rivers was only “during periods of excessive rainfall” 🤔
There could be other reasons 🤷🏼♂️

It's not "just summer" when you have temperatures 12°C higher than normal covering France on the 1st day of July. These are hazardous heat waves becoming more frequent and driven by global warming trends. We weren't supposed to see these repeating heatwaves for decades.
I’m surprised what’s happened in Switzerland isn’t a bigger story.
An entire town wiped off the map by a glacier collapsing, likely as a direct result of our warming climate.
This is like something out of a disaster movie.
Unbelievable achievement from Go Great, Go Green who were selected to go to the national finals of the Young Green Briton Challenge in London in July!! Also huge well done to Nature's Bloom - the jury were deliberating for ages!!
