@Ray00396256 I tend to believe we've started to experience the consequences of all that. Many youths are depressed, drowned in alcoholism and other negative coping mechanisms. Solving problems is an uphill task because we've gotten used to suppressing pain and anger.

Go south. An abusive parent will make his/her child's self esteem to decrease. It's a struggle to make a personal decision if you grew with parents who never gave you a chance to decide things. Let's not always blame drugs and pornography when kids tend to behave "differently".

Journalling is something I always want to do but the past experiences I had made me hate journalling. Anytime I got inconvenienced, hurt or disappointed, I used to go through my journal and end up more depressed and hurt. This would leave me very empty and broken. Any advice?
