These aren't accidents. National economic and monetary policy decisions have been designed to take more and give less — devaluing your dollar while the cost of everything goes up. Our communities have paid the price.

Neither party is held accountable. Neither party feels the consequences. You do.

Excellent and balanced article. The fact remains that NH has neglected its farming community and offered no real solutions. The veto of this bill is a slap in the face to farmers and the State House of Reps that passed the bill nearly 2-1.

The will of the people once again denied by fear mongering that lacks data. I encourage the Governor to rethink this and to look at the data instead of feelings.

Don’t use our resources. Don’t rely on our volunteers. Don’t use our infrastructure. Don’t ask Democrats to invest their time, money, and energy in your campaign.

Focus on building the party you actually support.

Political parties aren’t perfect, but they’re built by millions of people who knock doors, make calls, organize meetings, and fight for the values they believe in. If you don’t believe in the party, then don’t ask its members to carry you across the finish line.

We have never had a free market in this country... I get that's its a cute bumper sticker.

But the math doesn't support your bumper sticker. Show me the math and a model of what you are talking about and how it would deliver better care? It needs to be more than just "free market"

Pharma has operated under a free market and how has that worked out when we pay more than nearly any other country on the planet.

3-5% margin on $400 billion in revenue = up to $20 billion profit annually. And UnitedHealth grew from $8B to $368B market cap in 27 years. That's a lot of nickels for a middleman just passing money through.

But let's find something to agree on.... the healthcare system is broken, and too much bureaucracy siphons money out of actual care.

Here's the hard part: free markets aren't the answer with healthcare, and a bloated government system isn't either. So how do you fix it?
