@mortimer_1 If there were enough good hotels at non-criminal prices, airbnb would be dead in the water. If there were enough condos that some could be airbnb'd without any impact, it woudln't matter if they were. City hall directly controls the number of hotel rooms and condos in the city.

@Turkey45 @MikePMoffatt Remove zoning power from cities. In Japan zoning is a federal thing, you can pretty much build what is financially viable. In Vancouver it takes 7 years to be declined in the end because nimbyism.

I'm glad Stanley Park is back to 2 car lanes instead of 1, but it's still not accessible enough. For instance there are several large trees that impede my ability to visit every square inch of the park by car. I hope @ParkBoard will consider this proposed re-design
