90 days ago we published the first episode of The Global Dialogue. Today the numbers came in and I had to read them twice.
To put that in perspective: somewhere in the world, someone presses play on our podcast every 2 seconds. A new subscriber joins every 3 minutes. And the total watch time adds up to 2.5 years of nonstop viewing, generated in just 3 months.
But the number we are proudest of isn't on this graphic. It's the calibre of the conversations behind it. In 90 days we've sat down with voices from Princeton, Brookings, Oxford and beyond to unpack the questions that matter most to Pakistan. Pakistan deserves a seat in the global conversation, not just a mention in it.
Grateful to @PakGlobalAlumni who make this possible every single week. And to everyone who has watched, shared and subscribed, thank you!
Can a country really weaponise a river?
I sat down with Prof. Filippo Menga for The Global Dialogue to discuss the future of the Indus, the Harmon Doctrine, water weaponisation and what this crisis means for the global rules-based order.
Professor Menga is one of the worldโs leading scholars of hydro-politics and Editor-in-Chief of Political Geography.

"Pakistan has played its diplomatic cards extremely well."
What does a leading intelligence scholar make of Pakistan's diplomatic mastery?
Dr. @paul_mcgarr of King's College London โ one of the world's foremost scholars on intelligence, statecraft and covert diplomacy โ joins us for a deep dive into the intelligence war behind the headlines.
From Mossad's covert assets inside Iran and the 400% surge in #Iranian recruitment inside #Israel, to the TrumpโField Marshal Asim Munir relationship that changed the game and what the ceasefire really signals for regional stability and global power politics

๐ต๐ฐ Pakistan has emerged as a key mediator between the US and Iran, playing a crucial role in brokering the two-week ceasefire agreement and working with both camps, as well as regional powers, to end the war
๐จ๐ต๐ฐ Pakistan just became the most important country in a war it had nothing to do with.
Islamabad brokered the contact, Vienna backed the process, and Europe is now piling in to hold the ceasefire together.
The countries that said no to the war are the ones being asked to save it now.

Great work, @NadeemAfzalChan sb!
Strengthening our digital teams today will shape our partyโs success tomorrow. Letโs activate and empower digital volunteers in every district of Punjab and host monthly meetups to keep them engaged and aligned.
Today, we held our third digital media meeting in Central Punjab. Since I can't meet every social media activist in person, I have followed them on social media to stay connected.
I have also followed back many PPP social media activists who are working diligently and voluntarily for the party. They simply need encouragement and guidance from our party leaders to further enhance their efforts.
I invite everyone to share their suggestions and ideas for improving our social media presence. I am committed to being available and supportive for all social media workers across various platforms.
Let us continue working together for our shared goals.
Jiay Bhutto!

Those slandering @SkyYaldaHakim are the same voices that parroted state-fed scripts and fell silent as injustice ran rampant. Classic display of Pakistani elite's deep rooted bias against Afghans. They can't even stomach an Afghan woman's presence on an international platform.
This canโt even be called an interview. @SkyYaldaHakim is a disgrace to journalism. @sherryrehman did a phenomenal job defending Pakistan & keeping her cool while not being allowed to even complete one sentence.
'Pakistan is fighting very hard to clean its terrorist record'
Vice President of the Pakistan People's Party Senator Sherry Rehman tells @SkyYaldaHakim 'Pakistan is a changed country', even though they were taken off the grey list in 2022

Spent the last three days of Eid following our old family tradition at Bohr Bungalow, Kalabagh โ meeting and greeting people from across the district and beyond. Grateful for the love and visits from friends, well-wishers, and respected political and social figures.
We donโt just talk โ we act. Pakistanโs resolve is clear: when challenged, we respond. Six Indian jets downed is a reminder that peace is our priority, but not at the cost of our sovereignty. @BBhuttoZardari
This is French state media ๐ So unless the "anti-India conspiracy" involves, for some obscure reason, the French talking down their own fighter jets to promote Chinese ones, the news is real...
