@NicoleCRust As a grad student in neuroscience, having a mentor/professor without passion for what he/she’s lecturing, I stop caring. The same for undergrads. If you know they are underprepared, set reasonable expectations along with that passion.
@johannesburge Now I know why I had niggling problems with his theory and exp when he presented at UNR. Didn’t think his definition of perception was workable. Said nothing new… Studied with Tyler at ucla. Hope he’s well.
