27, 28, and 29 March are holidays. However, as per sources, some senior bank authorities are planning to call staff to work on these days. Bank employees were also called to work on 21 and 22 March. This clearly reflects the growing toxic work culture in Indian banks. Holidays are meant for rest and enjoyment, and employees deserve time for their personal lives. Working on holidays should not be glorified. If staff are regularly required to work during holidays, it is a serious issue that banks must address.
Mis selling will not be entertained❗️
That is what Finance Minister @nsitharaman said in New Delhi.
Strong statement. Now the question is simple. If mis selling is wrong, why is it still structurally encouraged inside banks?
Why are branch employees still under pressure to push insurance and third party products instead of focusing on responsible lending and CASA growth?
Why does bancassurance target culture continue if the policy intent is clean banking?
If the government and regulators are serious, then act decisively:
• Ban insurance linked sales targets in banks
• Prohibit forced cross selling at branch level
• Issue binding directions instead of advisories
• Make mis selling violations punishable
• Fix accountability at the level of top management
Banks should earn from what they lend and how they serve customers. Not from pushing products customers neither need nor fully understand.
Bankers are not insurance agents.
Banks are not distribution counters.
Speeches will not change ground reality. Enforcement will.
The country deserves clarity.
Is this about real structural reform
Or just regulatory messaging?

I ordered stuffed paratha through Zomato which was of 181 rs. It was bland in taste ,undercooked. Not actual stuff in stuffed paratha. No veggies or anything in between. It was just DRY maida or aata.Literal scam. When I tried to submit feedback it asks to take pictures.

🚨 BIG INSURANCE REALITY CHECK 🚨
This letter says everything people need to understand about bank-sold insurance.
Bank of India has informed customers that its corporate agency tie-up with Star Health is ending. Which means:
•No renewal through the bank
•No continuation through the bank
•No responsibility of the bank
•No service obligation of the bank
•No liability of the bank
📌 The policy was always between you and the insurer — not the bank.
🧠 Hard Truth:
⚠️ People believe:-
“I bought it from a bank, so the bank will help me.”
Reality:- The bank’s role ends at sourcing the policy. Your risk starts at hospitalization.
🔥 One-line reality:- The seller disappears., The insurer decides, The customer suffers.
✅ Smart Insurance Rule:
Don’t choose insurance based on: ❌ Brand trust ❌ Branch relationship ❌ RM pressure ❌ Cross-selling ❌ EMI offers
Choose insurance based on:- ✔ Claim structure ✔ Policy wording ✔ Deductible logic ✔ Service ecosystem ✔ Long-term support ✔ Claim assistance capability professional
💬 Need real guidance, not sales talk? If you want someone who explains structure, risk, and claim reality — not just premium — reach out. Better clarity today than chaos at claim time.

When your association, the All India Judges Association, collectively pressures the system for pay parity, higher retirement age, pensions, housing, staff, infrastructure, security, and regulated working hours, it is described as a constitutional necessity. Supreme Court directions follow. Governments comply. No one calls it obstruction or anti-growth.
But when workers, bank employees, or trade unions demand the same dignity—fair hours, humane conditions, job security—they are branded as jhanda unions, economic saboteurs, or enemies of development.
This is not judicial wisdom.
This is class privilege dressed up as moral superiority.
If collective bargaining is a right for judges, it cannot become a crime for workers.
If pressure tactics are legitimate at the top, they cannot be demonised at the bottom.
You cannot enjoy regulated work hours, long institutional vacations, pension security, and collective negotiation—and then lecture others on productivity and sacrifice.
Equality under the Constitution does not change with designation.
Justice that speaks down to labour while protecting its own comfort is not neutrality.
It is hypocrisy.

When a Hindu dies due to state failure and a prominent Hindutva handle still defends the government, the truth is clear. This was never about protecting Hindus. It was always about protecting their masters.
Saar, Blaming the dead is convenient. Fixing institutional negligence is necessary.
This wasn’t just an accident, it was a chain of failures. Why was a deep, water-filled pit left open without barricades or warnings?
Why did rescue agencies take so long when the victim was alive and crying for help? What were SDRF, NDRF, police and Noida authorities doing during those crucial minutes?
Azharuddin was loved by Indians and was made captain, but moment he got caught in match-fixing:
“I’m targeted for my religion.”
Hamid Ansari stayed at top posts, later became VP. Nobody objected. Moment his tenure completed:
“Musalman dara hua hai.”
Sanjay Dutt, a top actor, loved by the masses. The moment he got arrested in the 1992 Mumbai blast–related cases:
“I’m targeted because my mother was a Muslim.”
Aryan Khan, a superstar’s son. Living a private life, loved by superstar fans. The moment he got arrested in drug-related cases:
“He is targeted for being a Muslim.”
AR Rahman, one of the most loved composers in India. The moment his work dried up because his kind of music faded and he didn’t put in enough effort to catch up:
“I think I get less work for communal reasons.”
All the achievements are only theirs; failures aren’t. Failures are of the people who “target them for their religion". Bro, you were of the same religion when people were loving, celebrating, and supporting you. If religion were an issue, you wouldn’t have got the fame, money, and idolatry, but you never acknowledge that. When everything is going right, religion is invisible. It appears only when accountability begins.

A better banking experience starts with a sustainable workweek. With acute staff shortages and mounting stress, 5-day banking is about public service and employee well-being, not a privilege.
UFBU has been pressing since 2015; IBA has already recommended it to the Government (MoU 07-12-2023), and the 12th Bipartite/9th Joint Note (08-03-2024) records the Saturday holiday clause, pending approvals/clearances.
Honour what’s on record. Approve all Saturdays off.
