Dear @letsblinkit,
I ordered Daawat Rozana Mini Mogra Basmati Rice (5kg) (Order ID: 2201499306) because the product listing clearly showed a “Special Offer” on the pack. However, the delivered product did not have the advertised offer.
After spending around 40 minutes with customer support, I was promised a replacement with the correct pack. Shockingly, the replacement also arrived without the advertised offer. To make matters worse, my support chat was closed without any resolution.

Read latest #ICWA Guest Column on ‘Thirty Years of the 1994 Moscow Declaration: Pluralistic States in a Changing World’ by Amb. Ajai Malhotra @AjaiMalhotra, former Ambassador of India to the Russian Federation. The paper celebrates the 1994 #India-#Russia Moscow Declaration which makes a case for multiculturalism and pluralism and the positive force that they can be in elevating world civilization based on the experience in governance of multi-ethnic, multi-lingual and multi-religious states like India and Russia. Bereft of ideology, the Declaration notes the importance of ‘internationally accepted standards of democracy’ and ‘rule of law’ as basic components of a country’s ‘political system’ that promotes and protects ‘human rights’. It notes the dangers posed by the forces of ‘terrorism’, ‘political and religious extremism’, and ‘destabilization of relations between religious and ethnic groups’, leading to the ‘annihilation of all positive and constructive elements hitherto accumulated by mankind’. It points out to the ‘special responsibility’ of large multi-ethnic states in ensuring their viability and to ‘opposing’ threats to peace and democracy together with other members of the world community. The Declaration is premised on the thought that pluralistic states enjoy the right to self-determination and by their very existence contribute to international peace and security. The paper argues that the 1994 Declaration continues to be of substantial contemporary relevance for India and Russia and for democratizing international relations.

With the fall of the #Assad regime, Moscow is looking towards a period of uncertainty as the new regime is still taking its shape. #Russia's primary goal, in this context, lies in securing its Naval and Air Bases—Tartus Naval Base, which gives Russia access to the Mediterranean, and the Khmeimim Air Base, established in 2015—to ensure its continued presence in the country. The good news for Russia is that the new Syrian regime, for now, has not demonstrated hostility against Russia, keeping the possibility of a Russian presence in Syria open. Russia, too, has realised the new realities and has begun engaging with the new leadership to protect its assets and interests in Syria. There is no way Russia cannot build a new kind of relationship with the upcoming regime. Sacrificing some of its privileges during the Assad regime should not be a non-starter for Kremlin to engage with the new government of Syria.

President-elect Trump has positioned himself as pro-cryptocurrency. He has stated that he would like to build a cryptocurrency stockpile and prevent the US government from selling its cryptocurrency holdings, and his administration will try to use cryptocurrency to address the surging national debt. Such overt and vocal support is likely to attract more investors, which the industry feels will create a more favourable environment for innovation and growth of digital assets.
