Iran’s first official statement on the situation at Kharg Island following the devastating U.S. attack:

Fars News Agency reports:

🔹 An hour ago, Kharg Island was targeted by hostile airstrikes.
🔹 More than 15 explosions were heard on the island.
🔹 The enemy attempted to damage military fortifications, the Joushan naval base, the airport control tower, and the helicopter hangar on the continental shelf.
🔹 Field observations also indicate thick smoke rising from the island.
🔹 Sources confirmed that no oil infrastructure was damaged; Iran had warned that any attacks on its energy infrastructure would lead to the destruction of all oil and gas facilities in the region, affecting U.S. and allied interests.
🔹 After the attacks, Trump claimed that the U.S. struck all military targets on Kharg Island.
🔹 Trump’s claim of destroying Kharg Island’s defenses is false; defenses were reactivated an hour after the attack.
🔹 Trump also repeatedly claimed the complete destruction of Iran’s missile capabilities, but waves of missile and drone attacks have now reached their 48th round.
