@frankthetank111 It's a big challenge to complete said schedule, especially for 2024. There are not many teams with schedule vacancies; they have to want to play Stanford or Cal; they have to be available on the weekends when ND doesn't play at home. And so on.

@frankthetank111 To the B10, 5+7 and Best 12 are practically the same thing. There's no real world where the Big Ten champ isn't one of the Best 12. The main difference is guaranteeing a spot for the G5. For anti-trust reasons and to avoid Congressional scrutiny, they'll want to preserve that.

The Irish have three criteria to remain independent (and scheduling is not one of them): postseason access, a good home for their Olympic sports, and financial parity.

@johnarnold No, it would only mean that in this one case, the prosecutors didn’t prove it to the jury’s satisfaction. Holmes already settled a civil case in which she was assessed a $500m fine and loss of the company, including her own money. She did not get off scot-free.
