Anti-racism in academic medicine looks like moving away from paper-pushing to actually implementing and FUNDING the recommendations elucidated by disparities research.
It’s exciting to see new attention by media & medical journals to race correction in medicine (thanks to student activism). Race correction is harmful & based on false, racist bio concepts of race. I’m hoarse from preaching to medical schools & hospitals. It’s time to abolish it.
