@RichardCConrad@bugfish03@LegalEagle Yeah. Surely the error was in refusing to return them when asked. If he had done so, no search warrant and no charges.
@joncoopertweets Term limits alone do nothing. What the country needs is a independently appointed judiciary, from top to bottom. Countries around the world have figured this out why not the US?
@PalmerReport He's got no intention of buying Twitter. This is Elon 101: buy a stake in something (Bitcoin, anyone?), then stir up conflict (fire up the Fanboys!), then sell at a profit.
@XavierRothchild@gtconway3d Some people are just idiots. Russia has no legal or moral right to decide how neighbors defend themselves. Russia already border NATO. And pray tell, if Ukraine is assimilated, who are Russias NEW neighbors.
@MarshaBlackburn This is a direct lie. Analysis has shown NO difference in treatment OR sentencing, which in fact has been slightly higher than prosecution recommendations.
@buperac I think you meant to say 'condemn' this behaviour. They did 'condone' it by failing to call for it to stop (at least the violence, people are free to state their opinion of athletes or other performers. Classless, but its Free Speech. protected by the Charter of Rights.
@newagerogie They aren't booing because Ovechkin is Russian, they are booing because he has been, for years, an apologist for Putin, including taking part in his campaign. He has done nothing to directly condemn the war.
Besides, it's sports, fans can boo whoever they want.
@NiallFirinne@hugolowell@RpsAgainstTrump "Talking" to a lawyer does not necessarily invoke attorned client privilege. In fact, have a lawyer (or anyone else) in the room who is not explicitly employed by you while having such a discussion can easily invalidate such privilege.
@Culpm2Culp@tribelaw Simpler just to set up what MOST democracies have: fully independent districting committees who owe allegiance to no party. While we're at it, let's appoint judges based on recommendations of independent, unbiased legal groups. Party should NEVER be a factor.
@jerseymouse@RepSwalwell It's not a hard rule but it's a reasonably safe bet if you assume every crime they accuse anyone of carrying out is pure projection.
@LMARanch @KentJeffreys @RepSwalwell@BigpapiHT@RichardGrenell Sure, I can see that. Everybody knows that Trump was going to slap down his sugar daddy. Not to mention do a much better job of uniting NATO and pro western allies to get on board with some of the harshest sanctions ever. Definitely sounds like stuff Trump would have done.
