@jbhuang0604 @nsaphra Not sure about other parts of arXiv, but physics is FIFO generally (cross lists and papers on hold complicate). I knew people who wrote scripts to submit exactly at after the next days deadline (2pm US EST) to get to the front of the queue. Still leads to a geographical bias.
