@AustinAbbott CJ as ‘fringe starter’ lol, this list is a joke. I get it, he had a shit show of playoffs, but he’s never had better than a bottom 5 running game and even worse o-line. At least solid starter if not franchise qb
@MattHarmon_BYB @TexansJacob Seems like the Texans (and league as a whole) are trying to adopt more 12/13 personnel. How do you think this shapes the WR hierarchy in Houston?
@PFSN365 On the one hand…I respect the draft simulator for correctly expecting the Texans to at least make the AFC championship but, drafting a center after we traded up for Rutledge makes no sense. Also, Arizona is drafting a QB…what are we doing here
@PoddypodF @TexansJacob @MPhillip_hc Marks did admirable last season but was never intended to be the power back/bell cow role. If Monty goes down we’ll be in the same position we were without Mixon, really wish we addressed this with the draft but there’s also free agency
@GRAFFA_Oh Yeah bro, a UDFA RB is not moving the needle for me. We need depth behind Monty and Woody. Mike Washington/Emett Johnson/Jonah Coleman hell even Eli Heidenreich could have competed fo the RB2 spot
@zayvobinladen @TheRenderBull@HoustonTexans@bondl3wis Nobody is debating that Woody did a phenomenal job. His role was always intended to be a pass catching/3rd down back and we need depth, that’s the issue bro
@HoustonTexans@bondl3wis It’s pretty clear we’re trying to run the ball more efficiently via the 10 OL on the roster. Maybe instead of taking experimental TE3-4 (in the 2nd fucking round) or CB/DB7…we could have gotten some reinforcement at RB. Even the dude from Navy is gone 🤦🏽♂️
@FLAVAFASHION32@HandsShapeStone@DDelgattoNFL I think Woody did an excellent job but he was always intended to play a supplementary 3rd down/pass catching role. We need RB depth man
@HandsShapeStone@DDelgattoNFL If Montgomery goes down we all saw Woody not able to hold the bellcow load…we need depth at RB and edge. Really don’t know what the hell we’re doing here lol
@TexansCommenter My mans…we don’t have a LB on the roster for 2027 and Anthony Hill was right there. Blowing a 2nd round pick on a developmental TE who would have been there in round 4 is almost as bad as defending the decision
