Are there living microorganisms in Venus, Mars, Europa or another object in the Solar System?
The question is important: if the answer is “yes” it means that life would be very frequent in the Universe and if it is “no” it would be life could be a rare phenomenon

It’s a Martian marathon!
NASA's Perseverance Rover has surpassed a total distance of 26.2 miles (42.195 kilometers) of travel on the Red Planet. It crossed the milestone while exploring intriguing ancient terrain to the west of Jezero Crater.
A week ago, @NASA introduced the world to the Artemis III crew, the next astronauts who will fly onboard the Orion spacecraft to test rendezvous, proximity operations and docking, paving the way for future lunar surface missions.
Let's get to know this crew a little better!
Breathable oxygen has now been produced on the surface of Mars
"Sometime around midday on April 20, 2021, a microwave-sized device on Mars finished its first hour of work and reported back to its operators at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology."

Mars isn't going to colonize itself. Join hundreds of scientists, engineers, dreamers & future Martians at the 29th Annual Int'l Mars Society Convention in Los Angeles in October. Three days. 80+ speakers. One giant leap toward the Red Planet. Info: https://t.co/5vnuAK29rh.
The Spirit rover (Mars Exploration Rover A) left our planet to begin the journey to its new home OTD in 2003. This view captured 20 years ago at the beginning of 2006 shows rippled sand deposits of the "El Dorado" ripple field in Gusev Crater on Mars.
Designed for a 90-day mission, Spirit operated for more than 6 years on Mars. It's twin, Opportunity, operated for almost 15 years.

NASA Marches Toward Artemis III Mission in 2027, Names Crew Members
Moving further toward one of the most complex crewed space missions in recent spaceflight history, NASA revealed new details about #NASA_Artemis III Mission on Tuesday, and announced the four primary crew members and one backup for this test flight.
This mission will conduct a series of demanding tests in Earth Orbit in 2027, essential for the future #NASA_Artemis VI Mission, the first planned crewed mission to the Lunar South Pole, scheduled for 2028.
During Artemis III, the agency’s #Space_Launch_System Rocket will launch the #NASA_Orion spacecraft and its crew from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida to low Earth orbit.
Following checks of Orion’s respective systems, the spacecraft will demonstrate, for the first time, its rendezvous and docking capabilities with test versions of one or both of the U.S. commercial crewed landing systems developed by SpaceX and Blue Origin.
This meticulously planned mission includes a spectacular multi-launch campaign with the world's most powerful rockets, testing the integrated hardware between #NASA_Orion and the landers, as well as the system interfaces, software, propulsion, and communications.
The assigned crew consists of the following members:
NASA astronaut Randy Bresnik, commander
ESA astronaut Luca Parmitano, pilot
NASA astronaut Andre Douglas, mission specialist
NASA astronaut Frank Rubio, mission specialist
