@alex_avoigt There was a massive decline of Tesla Net Promoter Score in Germany from NPS=65 in 2024 to only 50 in 2025. Tesla dropped from #1 to #5 while average NPS went up 9 pts!
NPS measures satisfaction of customers, so actual Tesla customers are much less happy than they used to be.
@Jonathan_Blow Or it could be that the economy just doesn't need their products any more.
It is surprising how relatively narrow the area of competence of many companies is. Maybe the effect you describe is part of the reason.
@Parakite4@tetsuoai Oh yes, the first (trivial) example also needs a head null test. Otherwise the walk = walk->next line will result in an exception.
@pascal__2k@markusdd5 Isn't it the customers (or lack of them) who decided that?
Or maybe Tesla hasn't figured out how to maintain market share over more than a single product cycle. The continuous improvement doesn't seem to attract enough buyers.
@sanderfish@levelsio Not only does booking directly cost more, hotels also have worse cancellation terms. Often you can't even change your booking without fees or only weeks in advance.
@TB22993689@ELoosbrock The use is mentioned right there in the screenshot: V2G vehicle-to-grid, i.e. use your car battery to sell power to the grid while it's parked.
With conventional 1000 cycles batteries that would degrade them in ~3 years (assuming daily cycle),
@lithos_graphein Nitpick: the Carl Zeiss Stiftung is not "privately held". It's actually not held (owned) by anyone - it's an entirely independent entity. Managed by humans, but not owned by them.
@CJHandmer Are you already shipping product at Terraform? Cause I didn't notice a purchase button or contact form on the homepage.
What's the timeline for availability for the first product?
(Methane synthesis I suppose?)
@aledeniz Well, if the devs could guarantee to find a business line they could ask for the bonus as agreed compensation in advance, that's how sales commissions work.
It's difficult to ask for a huge bonus retroactively for obv reasons.
OTOH, I don't think devs are underpaid in the US.
@TomBuongiorno@StepanRehak Official sales price isn't where it's at. Discounts for VW are found in leasing offers. Even the cheapest Tesla > 300β¬/month whereas ID.4 can be had for 200-250β¬/m.
Significant difference.
@soundslikecanoe Curious what you replaced Google Docs with.
Did you code your own office suite or did you use Docs more like a notepad where you don't actually need most of its (already quite limited) features?
@exQUIZitely@SinanTankutGlhn Please don't rip off the author Rolf-Dieter Klein. He is still selling it and copyright is in force.
He has a nice overview of the history and all versions on his page here:
