The @tnhrcedept takes over Hindu Temples in Tamil Nadu stating that - they are being mismanaged, their properties are encroached, no fair income collected, etc. etc.

But when CAG wants to audit the performance of the Tamil Nadu HR&CE Department in managing temples and their properties - the shameless department goes into a hiding.

It refuses to provide data and reports.

It refuses to allow CAG to do this audit.

They have a lot to hide. If CAG does a proper audit many HR&CE officials will go to JAIL. For many years.

Just came to know that the roof of the 800 year old Mahadeshwara temple in Thiruchitrambalam village of Tenkasi district has completely collapsed. The locals have complained that despite submitting repeated requests to the govt authorities managing the temple, no steps were taken for its preservation and maintenance.

This centuries old temple believed to have been constructed by Kulasekara Pandyan requires immediate attention, which the anti-sanatan DMK government seems to be refusing.
