Most "AI deleted our database" stories are really "we gave it access with no rules and didn't watch what it was doing" stories.

Yes, models hallucinate and go off-script sometimes and that's exactly why guardrails exist. Tools do what you let them do.

You leave out “unimportant” details thinking “the AI will figure it out.” Spoiler: it won’t.

Next thing you know you have a data leak or broken logic. Details are boring, but they keep shit from exploding.
