@pwharris Any teacher that writes a mixed number with concatenation instead of a plus sign should lose their license. Concatenation means multiplication. What do we say about teaching rules that expire? Notation that expires is much worse.

@jamestanton You’re drawing horizontal lines (rows of the triangle) to get totals (2^n for each row). Tilt the lines to different totals. For example, tilting to be parallel to the side you get n, then the sum of T(n), etc. There’s an angle which gives the Fibonacci sequence, which amazes me.
