La genèse de comment Tshisekedi @Presidence_RDC après avoir commencé par les attaquer au début de son mandat changeât complètement d’avis après avoir subi de cuisantes défaites face au M23, qui rappelons le, étaient initialement ses alliés, ils venaient de passer 11 mois à Kinshasa afin de constituer une nouvelle armée sensée combattre les FDLR et les différents groupes armés à l’Est, les Wazalendo, et rétablir la paix et la sécurité.

Quelques compléments d’information sur les forces armées #Burundi … comment ils préfèrent être dans les positions de défense lors des offensives … et les premiers à détaler quand ils voient les FARDC craquer…par contre que les Wazalendo sont plus vaillants que les FARDC

on retient que Tshisekedi mise surtout sur les FDLR, que sans eux, il n’a rien.

Last month, Congolese Minister of Regional Integration Floribert Anzuluni @FloribertAnzu toured Europe and Africa carrying a document signed by FDLR president Victor Byiringiro, apparently testing whether the genocidal group could somehow be babysat instead of dismantled as explicitly demanded.

This reckless and disgraceful stunt has only exposed Tshisekedi's deeply troubling ties with the FDLR.

Tshisekedi now has to produce an operational plan showing exactly how he intends to do it.

The FDLR must be dismantled, and Tshisekedi must show how.

Le danger posé par les #FDLR ne doit pas être évalué uniquement à l’âge de leurs dirigeants. L’essentiel réside dans leur capacité à préserver leur idéologie, à recruter de nouveaux membres et à maintenir des réseaux armés. 📌The DRC says an African country has agreed to receive some members of the #FDLR, an armed group backed by Kinshasa that includes individuals who participated in the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi and is accused of continuing to spread genocide ideology in the region.

📌Kinshasa has said it has been holding talks with the FDLR to persuade the group to lay down its weapons. However, the group has reportedly rejected proposals that would see its members return to #Rwanda.

📌The DRC has yet to disclose the name of the country that has agreed to receive them.

📌The decision to keep the country's identity confidential has raised questions over which nation is prepared to accept members of a group that has been linked to a security crisis in the Great Lakes region for more than three decades.

📌The #FDLR, which is deeply entrenched in eastern DRC, remains a major security concern for the Great Lakes region, including #Rwanda.

📌Its history is closely linked to the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi, in which more than one million people were killed over 100 days.

📌The relocation of #FDLR members could either form part of a broader effort to resolve a security crisis that has persisted for more than 30 years, or simply change the location and nature of the problem.

📌The country that ultimately accepts them will therefore face an important question: whether it is prepared to assume responsibility for the consequences.

📌The #FDLR itself claims to have more than 10,000 fighters, nearly half of whom it says are engaged in regular military activities.

📌The #Rwanda-n government's ongoing crackdown on illicit and unsafe alcoholic beverages aligns with the WHO Global Alcohol Action Plan 2022-2030, which promotes cost-effective measures to reduce alcohol-related harm.

📌According to World Health Organization data, alcohol is a toxic and dependence-producing substance associated with more than 200 health conditions.

📌Globally, alcohol consumption contributes to approximately three million deaths each year and is a major behavioural risk factor for noncommunicable diseases, including cardiovascular diseases, liver cirrhaids, metabolic disorders and several types of cancer.

📌Sustained action against harmful alcohol consumption is necessary to reduce preventable deaths, and the enforcement measures are a vital step towards protecting public health.
