@frankkilopezzz @TeachLeadAAli Only a few people have access until the embargo is lifted tomorrow at 8. Someone has to get everything organised for results day!
@Miff__@berniewestacott@educationgovuk But we can get this without SATS. Primary schools already pass along information that we need and we use ngrt to identify any further literacy needs
@BBCPolitics@bbclaurak@BBCTwo ‘Inspection only touches a small proportion of people in a school, particularly the most senior people’ - seriously? @Ofstednews@bbclaurak This shows how out of touch Amanda Spielman is. Ofsted inspections ‘touch’ every single member of staff. Constantly.
@BBCPolitics@LeadingLearner How can labelling a school as requires improvement or inadequate support a school to improve? All it does is turn communities against them, reducing the level of parental support therefore creating further behaviour issues.
@tombennett71 We were hit by the protests this week. They couldn’t articulate a genuine reason other than toilets are locked during lessons (they’re not). We knew it was coming but could do nothing to stop it due to the numbers. For a day, we lost control. I’ve never felt so low as a teacher
Amanda Spielman yet again says that @Ofstednews are not to blame for stress and pressure on Headteachers & other staff, causing them to leave the profession.
So I ask again:
Does Ofsted contribute to HTs and others wanting to leave the profession? Please RT for a bigger sample.
@Miss_Snuffy Read with your children. Discuss politics, world events, scientific advances and general knowledge. Encourage them to research, question and learn. Support them with homework. Yes, parents should teach as this will only enchance the education they receive from school.
