@texasrunnerDFW@LogicRules1st Live one neighborhood north. Part of the selling point of ours was no MUD/PID. HOA was nuts there too - granted the amenities were nice.
@texasrunnerDFW@DrRepatriator Tons of for sale in Celina near me. I don’t plan to move, but would be a brutal time to be forced to sell. Probably 15-20% decline in the last 2 years.
@chris_kratovil@SouthwestAir Same here. If you have the credit card, it’s essentially the same as A-List. No benefit really as long as you have the CC. I’ll fly AA more out of of dfw now.
@texasrunnerDFW Agree completely - and the new builder concessions on top of resale inventory available are significant. I do think there’s an artificial floor here with continued finance roles, potential Lower rates, maybe some property tax relief, etc.
@texasrunnerDFW We’re likely underwater a bit from a 2022 purchase - but we love the house, kids are in a good school district (up for debate in Celina). It was a forced move due to daughter starting kindergarten in a bad one. Do I love it? No. But rents were skyrocketing also - no man’s land.
@texasrunnerDFW@RobertMSterling Can’t believe they haven’t made it north to prosper yet. The stonebriar one feels like it’s been going downhill the past few years.
@texasrunnerDFW@Rijken Loved Celina 3 years ago; should have anticipated it. Not sure interested in moving back into frisco, and not commuting from Gunter, even though the golf course community is nice.
@texasrunnerDFW@LiberalPlano Downtown Celina is what drew us up here being from the Midwest. But that’s a total fair point - mine are 7 and 3, no chance that’s the HS they go to. Hell, feels like every semester is even a grade school rezone to your point - have been lucky so far at least!
@texasrunnerDFW@LiberalPlano Agree - and we’ll see how this tollway expansion impacts everything. Prices are way too high still, but those will normalize I’m sure along with other areas.
