@REBBrain Yes exactly. Current TW management are trying to fix issues and aren't responsible for the situation the company is in, yet all public perception thinks that they are
@REBBrain When things are easy, you and I could do these jobs, but this isn’t.
Debt restructuring that TW is going through needs someone who can deal with creditors as well as do finances in that environment.
That comes with a price similar to partner level at a city law or accounting firm
@MC_of_A Depends on what is important to you as a player. High level competition or money. If it's money then you need to look at after tax income in relation to your cost of living. On top of that he's probably also looking at schooling for kids and lifestyle of where he would be playing
@grubbr_stats But surely minute-weighted average age is different to the age at which players are producing their best performances? Admittedly, I would have thought that even your minute-weighted age figures would have been higher for props
This situation doesn't seem right. Guess it hasn't really been an issue too often for it to be looked at. If the government was desperate to tax items like this, then doing it, if and when, relatives sell the item would seem much fairer
Feels like a very important point by Bill here. If the AI labs wants light regulation, then you also have to assume liability for what you create and any damage it may cause, inadvertent or otherwise
Please stop referring to your own models in the third person when talking about model bad behavior. Humans write the software; humans built the prompts; and they work for your company.
“Our” model is doing illegal things. “Our” model is risky. “We” now have liability.
If I was a really sharp unnamed trading firm
>Momentum trading becomes increasingly profitable, and a large percentage of gross book
>These names are extremely illiquid, and liquidating your holdings would kill the market
>See fund that is extremely concentrated in single names
>LP into said fund, knowing the size of the raise and forecastable market impact in single name equities, as well as risk limits (VaR, Vol, DD limit)
>Unwind illiquid single name momentum book into the fresh new buying
>When the market starts to nuke, you know exactly where said fund will begin getting liquidated
>Scoop entire book in one block transaction and buyback the names you sold into the fund's top blasting
Just maybe...
The proposed sale of a stake in FIFA's commercial revenues to PE continues a recent and troubling trend in sports of mortgaging tomorrow to pay for today. These deals can make sense if the funds are invested in a manner that increases future revs. This FIFA deal does not do that.
We've now also asked Americans whether they would take a guaranteed $50,000 versus a 50-50 chance to win $1m, finding similar results to the UK
🇺🇸 $50,000: 65% / 50-50 chance of $1m: 25%
🇬🇧 £50,000: 73% / 50-50 chance of £1m: 21%

This legend got roasted by the French newspaper Le Monde
Then instead of putting his head down as most European elites have typically done
He penned a masterpiece articulating his heroic contributions to France
THIS IS HOW YOU SAVE EUROPE
Bravo @BernardArnault
A just for fun question ....
Assuming 7s at LA 2028 includes: 🇿🇦 SA, 🇫🇯 Fiji, 🇦🇺 Australia, 🇳🇿 NZ, 🇫🇷 France, 🇦🇷 Argentina, 🇪🇸 Spain, 🇬🇧 GB, 🇺🇸 USA, 🇯🇵 Japan.
If you could pick two 15s stars for each team to attempt to emulate Dupont and go for Olympics 🥇. Who would you pick?
@NeilMac555 Not sure how big the leaks are and at what percentage of turnover you're down in those leagues. Guess a Q you need to ask yourself is, how much of your Champions League, Europa League and INT betting benefits from also following the Bundesliga and Premier League closely?
