@AdvisorJobs Early success is largely dependent on their ability to sell. That’s how they will avoid getting stuck in a para-planner role which will likely be disrupted by AI.
Real experience is developed working with real people and having to find creative solutions to complex problems
@jaynrobinson@stored_alpha@AdviserCounsel I’m not sure how you could make that claim. CHFC has two extra modules? You can spread the education out over 5 years and there’s no cumulative exam. You also don’t have to have a degree to hold a CHFC. The college requirement alone makes CHFC less rigorous.
@JonLuskin@MrNQDC If the objective is to move to cash then selling a few etfs is the same as selling 250 individual stocks. Press a button and you’re done.
If you don’t need to go 100% cash then the stock portfolio allows for flexibility in managing cap gains vs etfs that do not.
@MrNQDC@JonLuskin It’s no less complicated than unwinding an etf portfolio with embedded gains. If you want out of the fee structure just cancel the management and keep the securities.
@BarstoolAlabama@barstoolttu Tuscaloosa is Lubbock with a river. I just spent a week there, and there is very very little to do. Lubbock is a much more family friendly town
