Wireshark 4.0 introduces bitwise operator capable of masking each bit. So, use wlan.addr[0] & 0x03 = 2 as a display filter to show RFC 7042 random MAC addresses. Here’s a handy graphic showing how it works. #wireshark#wifi
I must have missed the original memo on this one...this is huge (great article):

Could be helpful for folks preparing for @CWNP exams such as #cwna or #cwap or just regular #wifi nerds :)

That are the basics to create a proper #WiFi#design with #Ekahau
The #covidsafe app is now available in Australia 😷
However, it's a shame that they have decided not to release the source code for full transparency.
Luckily, I'm a curious chap and also a professional mobile developer.
I have just re-enabled my 802.1X wireless WLAN with a FreeRadius server on Ubuntu installed on an old desktop.
With own CA (root cert), PEAP, EAP-TLS and VLAN override on a 9800CL based network with AP in FlexConnect.
Thank you @dot11zen and your blog

Comparing Unlicensed RF spectrum
2.4 GHz - 80 MHz
5 GHz - 500 MHz
6 GHz - 1,200 MHz
Thanks to the @FCC for leading the world in adding more Unlicensed Spectrum!
Wi-Fi Center Frequencies can be calculated with these formulas:
2.4GHz Frequencies - 2407 + 5 X Channel Number
5Ghz Frequencies - 5000 + 5 X Channel Number
6 GHz Frequencies - 5940 + 5 X Channel Number
I thought it appropriate to see a visual image of how much more spectrum 6GHz will bring to Wi-Fi.
2.4 GHz
3 - 20MHz Channels
5 GHz
25 - 20 MHz Channels
6GHz
59 - 20 MHz Channels
The new ‘norm’ for Enterprise deployments will be 80 MHz channels!
One more week till FCC vote!
I was talking ekahau reporting with @nickjvturner recently, and had an idea on how to set up dynamic AP icon sizes. See how it works, and find another potentially useful implementation of this in my blog here: https://t.co/0ayPr7Sxqf
This fantastic teaching tool called EMANIM is now available as a web page.
A wonderful resource to help visualize RF waveforms and properties.

Thanks to @mistermultipath for the link.
I've been playing a little with Scapy today.
Here a little Hidden SSID Detector to learn how to sniff and decode frames with this wonderful tool :)

@subnetwork . I listen to the Ekahau warehouse webinar. You said something I have thought a lot on. RSSI level difference between beacons (mngt) and data frames. Do you have some examples of how much better data frames could be received compared to beacons?
