That is what makes Asia’s energy landscape so important right now.

Across the region, demand is not just growing. It is being pulled forward by industrial expansion, urbanization, electrification, AI data centers, and the rising energy needs of households and businesses.

At the same time, global supply routes remain exposed to disruption, geopolitical tension, price volatility, and infrastructure constraints.

This is why Asia is no longer only a demand center in the global energy system.

It is becoming one of the places where the future of energy security will be tested, financed, and shaped.

For countries across the region, the challenge is not simply securing more supply. It is building a more resilient energy mix that can support growth, protect consumers, strengthen industrial competitiveness, and reduce exposure to future shocks.

That means LNG and natural gas remain central to the conversation.

But it also means investing in stronger grids, flexible infrastructure, storage, smarter networks, digital systems, lower-carbon technologies, and deeper partnerships across producers, buyers, policymakers, and investors.

This is where Gastech 2026 in Bangkok becomes especially relevant.

The event comes at a time when Asia’s energy decisions will have global consequences, influencing supply flows, investment priorities, infrastructure development, and the pace of energy transformation.

For me, the most important conversation is not whether demand will rise.

It is how the region can meet that demand while building systems that are reliable, affordable, resilient, and prepared for the next disruption.

A clinical decision support system can combine that information with medical references and flag a possible dosing concern for review.

Now the clinician has something to examine.

Are the patient data current? Does the recommendation make sense in this particular care situation?

The software can bring relevant evidence to the attention of the clinician while the decision is being considered. The clinician interprets that evidence and decides how to proceed.

The purpose is to make medical knowledge available in the context of the patient, without transferring clinical judgment to the software.
