This map shows how boys (blue) and girls (red) spend their breaks in a school in Barcelona. This school is used as a case study of space shared equitably. Often in such studies boys simply play on the sports fields while girls spend their break talking or on non-sport playgrounds. Design can impact movement patterns massively. Dr. Norman Kiogora: EARCs are the "Ultimate Game Changer" for Inclusive Education in Kenya
At the Secondary Education Quality Improvement Program (SEQIP) and the Kenya Primary Education Equity in Learning (KPEEL) program held at KISE, Director Dr. Norman Kiogora hailed Educational Assessment and Resource Centres (EARCs) as the "ultimate game changer."
By providing critical early assessment and intervention, these centers ensure every child, regardless of ability, has a fair start and a clear pathway to success.
The mission focuses on institutionalizing equity through KPEEL and SEQIP reforms in primary and secondary schools. By expanding disability inclusive materials and strengthening early intervention systems alongside @WorldBank and @GPforEducation, we are building a Kenya where every learner is seen, heard, and supported. ๐โจ
