I am looking to find the right type of student insurance in Germany that would help cover Type 1 Diabetes. I've been unable to find an insurance that suits me. Any leads on how to go about this would be extremely helpful. Please retweet to help share the message. More in comments
It's surprising how no one has been able to provide a reasonable solution to my plea. Literally everyone just backed off saying "we can't take names". Are we really that connected? Or am I missing something? Or are my expectations for a life with diabetes as a student too high?

Sure, don't take names. I understand there are legalities that don't allow you to. Then why call yourself an international organisation/ community ? Why create boundaries where they don't exist?
I guess I'm digressing from my core message- I need insurance as a student. Being 30+ and not working means I can only choose Private insurance. But how do I source my medications and prescriptions once in Germany?
@medtroniceu I understand. Could you atleast give me a direction on how to proceed with getting an insurance that would cover my needs? It's okay to not take names but a direction of inquiry would be more helpful.
@bluecirclediab@drmohanv There isn't an issue acquiring private insurance. It's just that they do not cover pre-existing conditions like T1D. So I'm trying to understand how to arrange for insulin and other pump accessories. Would i need a prescription? If yes, how? Price?- are my queries at the moment
@novonordisk@medtroniceu I'm not sure whom to contact or ask about it anymore. Buying insulin and other medications out of my pocket is the last, but most expensive option. If you know anyone (who knows anyone), then please retweet my plea with them or tag them here. @radzzzzster
