A separated bike lane was installed on 17th street for detouring bikes. I can only hope that it is kept and extended further down the street after the detour is no longer needed!

@eean @WarrenJWells I was thinking more along the lines of ADA improvements or other pavement sidewalk issues. But there are areas where utility conflicts are unavoidable and their relocations can be pricey.

@__eel__ @WarrenJWells This is my rough estimate based on bids I’ve seen at that time but it can really vary, likely they have more than doubled from this estimate. The lump sum cost for safety light would include between 4 to 8 lights plus the labor and equipment to install.
